We train on the 853C Air Rifle and emphasize safety, team building, and mental focus. In this program, five principles of marksmanship are taught to help cadets improve their skills &#8211; position, aiming, holding, breathing, and trigger control.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Competitions are structured on three levels &#8211; Zone Competitions, Provincial Competitions, and National Competitions. \u00a0Teams from air, army, and sea cadet units attend. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Marksmanship practice is held on Fridays from 1800-2130. Most times it is open for everyone to attend, but the focus is on the marksmanship team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cadets attending that are not on the team will get to experience assisting with the range, and learn tips and tricks to improve.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Cadet Marksmanship Program is modelled after Olympic style shooting.
