The safety of your cadet is the first priority of the staff.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The training run two(2) weeks, three(3) weeks and six(6) weeks in duration for which your cadet will receive a training bonus of $60\/week. Some of the more senior courses require having attended previous courses. Offered as Basic and Instructor level.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sports and Fitness<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; these courses focus on fitness and sports training. \u00a0The aim of this specialty is to train sports assistants and leaders. Offered as Basic and Instructor level.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Expedition<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0these courses focus on adventure training. \u00a0Activities include canoeing, mountain biking, hiking, and abseiling. \u00a0Cadets interested in this specialty should be physically fit, and be comfortable in the water and on a bike. Offered as Basic, Instructor, Advanced and Senior level.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marksmanship<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; these courses focus on marksmanship training and coaching. The aim of this specialty is to develop skilled shooters and effective marksmanship coaches. Offered as Basic, Instructor, Advanced and Senior level.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Band<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; these courses offer additional instruction on the instrument of the cadet&#8217;s choice. The aim of this specialty is to develop skilled musicians who can also assist in training other cadet musicians. Offered as Basic, Instructor, and Advanced level, in both Military Band and Pipe Band.<\/li>\n<li><strong>International Exchanges<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; these courses offer Army Cadets a chance to participate in a joint training and cultural exchange program. Offered as Senior level.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Army Cadet Basic Parachutist<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; To allow Army cadets to obtain the CF Basic Parachutist qualification.\u00a0\u00a0Should the cadet continue with a military career this qualification will transfer.
